Happy Belated Valentine's Day!
Yeah whatever I never celebrated Valentine's Day..for reasons beyond my control..teehee! But I know of certain people who got roses from across the seas delivered to their doorstep on Valentine's Day! That's pretty sweet...even if I wasn't the one who got them. Its kinda nice to see their reaction when they talk about what their dorks gave them...well bahhumbug like I said stupid cupid I dont celebrate it.
I miss Boracay already! Its incomparable to the beaches I have seen in the States. In the US, the waves are bigger, the water is freakin' cold and the sand is a lot grainy-er (no, I dont think it is proper grammar.) The beaches in the Phils--the water is warm, the sand esp Boracay sand is powdery soft (it looks like polvoron before its puts into the mold.) My sis told me---well I am not sure if she's foolin' me once again but according to her (whatever) the sand is actually poulverized shells... that's why the sand is very fine, soft and always cool to the touch... Hmmm...enlighten me on this if this theory of hers is correct...
What else did I see in Boracay? I saw lots of foreigners...I felt like I was in a different country. Everybody letting it all hang out..garsh! Esp the oldies...oh man..yeah I rather not think about that anymore....I felt so small, extra small as compared to the Europeans who were at the beach...Hello can you say Amazonian! they are huge! I felt as small as a freakin' ant... the Boracay bodies...There were people whose bodies you'd envy and others whose yeah you wish you hadn't looked in their direction in the first place. The over-all atmosphere, is laid-back and everyone is alot friendlier than in Manila..maybe its the sand on their feet or the sea water. Everyone is just less up tight...and everything is in slo-mo. You dont really have to worry as what to wear since you're in your bathing suit most of the time..I'm proud of myself..i I actually wore a bikini...at least I can say I actually fit in one before I hit 65 and become a blimp. Its turly a beautiful place...but its also quite unfortunate that its has become very commercialized...The d'mall area, has great bars and restos but seems kind of congested. I like Nami resort, nope didnt stay there..Next time..Its nicer, quieter, and swankier resort as compared to the ones in Stations 1-3 as it is located in a nice secluded area. Yes, If you would like to sponsor my next trip to Boracay at nothing less than Nami resort...please do contact me...hahaha! (well its worth a try.)
The Philippines has tons of other gorgeous places to visit that I havent been to yet..darned it! I am sure--like Palawan(--because its not as commercialized as Boracay--not staying at Dos Palmas---noooo way!) , Bohol (to see the tarsiers and the Chocolate hills), Banawe Rice Terraces ( Ganja's Paradise--no i dont smoke! But I have heard) and recently Batanes because biatch E. said it was beautiful...saw the pics seems like it is ( for its limestone houses--and you can see Taiwan from Batanes, how cool is that!) and Davao (to see Eden, and I got inggit when stoops shea went to Davao..the dork!)
So I am going to work like a dog in NY just so I can vacation in the Philippines and visit all these places... (pero hoy naman if you live anywhere at these places where I can stay..invite me naman...fine I will cook my own food! :-) Thanks in advance!!! (oh yeah and by the way expect my whole family to go with me!)
Of course I will miss the Philippines...not just Boracay. Its the beginning of another new journey....
Well Happy belated Chinese New Year! Here's to Endless Possibilities!
